Hey, I’m Isaiah — but most people just call me “Kidd” or "Zay." I don't really have a preference. I’m a bartender, a graphic designer, and most importantly, a father of three incredible boys. I’ve been engaged for a couple of years now to the woman who not only understands my flaws but challenges me every day to be a better man — for myself, my kids, and our future.
My story isn’t perfect. I’ve made mistakes that led me down some dark roads — decisions that cost me time, peace, and opportunities. But those same chapters shaped who I am today. Being locked up, being on probation — it all forced me to face myself, to own my past instead of hiding from it. It taught me that real growth doesn’t happen when life’s easy — it happens when you decide to stop running from your own reflection.
Bartending became my therapy. Behind the bar, I found purpose and peace in the chaos — a way to connect, to listen, to create. The clinking of glasses, the hum of conversation, the art of crafting something that can make someone’s night a little better — it became more than just a job. It became an outlet. At first, it was intimidating — a hundred eyes on you, voices calling out orders, a world where you either sink or swim. But I had good people, like my trainer James, who reminded me that sometimes you just have to fake it till you make it. And with time, I didn’t have to fake it anymore. I found my rhythm, my confidence, my craft.
As someone who once studied journalism, I’ve always loved storytelling and human connection. Every person who sits at my bar has a story worth hearing — whether it’s funny, deep, or downright weird, it matters. Everyone deserves to be heard.
That’s what inspired The Kreative Pour — a space that blends my love for bartending, design, and honest storytelling.
